me and a relative were talking the other day about the difficult line Chilli must walk with these games. When we play Zanesville on Friday you can count on the fact that our starting 5 will play as many minutes as possible if not every minute. its hard to be conditioned for that when you are only playing 2 quarters in the other games. i'd like to see Chilli's starters stay on the floor longer but also like said above there doesnt need to be and there wont be, any pressing. coach K has too much class for that.

and thats just how it is...Dshanton3

I've seen complaints about seating on this thread, but I haven't seen one Jackson fan complaining about officiating. Also, what in the world does last football season have to do with this basketball game? The only trend I see developing is you getting more annoying by the day. You've been going crazy the last few days, insulting anyone and everyone. For no reason, you are throwing the Wellston loss in the face of Jackson fans yet again and talking about how we do nothing but complain. Jackson fans, and pretty much everyone else on this board, are the ones who are getting tired...tired of listening to you run your mouth constantly.

hitchbone64 wrote:army is on a roll the last few days. He got a dose of Chilly over Dunbar and Wellston over Jackson Saturday. Double victory for the passionate Cavs fan.

Army will not (I repeat) back down from any poster or anybody.

GO CAVS!!!

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

ironman02.

No disrespect, you surely must of missed the Wellston-Jackson thread CONCERNING the Classic. All the Jackson Posters did, was complain about the officals. You know......to bad, if you cannot see the Jackson Posters whinning about this and that, all I can say is, if you don't want a response don't complain, especially about our visitors seating at the Hatton in Chillicothe :!:

We take pretty good care of our visitors in Chillicothes Gym. I have not seen or heard any grips until Jackson got on here and started to complain about the seating at the Hatton.

Good luck to your team. Hopefully, there will not be any whining concerning this game. Let us pray :!: :-D

You should find the visitor seating with no issues or problems. I do hope you come and support your team at the Hatton tomorrow night. :-D

GO CAVS :!: :-D

Roll Big Blue and White to Victory :!:

Just remember that Friday night when you get to Zanesville and see how they take care of their season ticket holders and where they put the visitors.

gahs4ever,

Thats O.K. We'll be there early. Plus my cousin works in the Chillicothe AD's office. Always helps if there are any tickets to secure before we depart. :-D

Army,

I did see the threads about the Jackson-Wellston game. The point is that they have nothing to do with this thread. Why you decided to bring them up is what I don't understand. You keep telling everyone to move on, but you're the one who dwells on it.

Whatever though. Good luck to both teams. I'm sure that the Ironmen will play hard and try to keep it close against an extremely talented Chillicothe team.

noreply66,

Whose the poster on here talking smack now :?:

It seems to me it's your trap yapping at the moment. You always seem to be on here talking trash about our CAVS when you are counter-pointed. Maybe if you would concentrate on your own school, that is (Logan) instead of our Chillicothe CAVS and our threads you might be better off..................... :!:

By the way, your pow-wow chieftians who I might add, is still trying to figure out how to play real basketball now that the new teams in the SEOAL are in the League with true Basketball Traditions, your logan chieftians seem to be having a difficult time adjusting. :-D

I hope your chieftians are getting taught everything they need concerning the basics.

They sure need it :!:

Blah....blah....blah

gahs4ever wrote:Army: You misunderstand about the seating at Zanesville. There are 2200 seats that surround all four corners of the gym, but almost all of them are reserved.

The visitors are relegated to their own little nook and cranny as you will see. Also, unless they have changed in the past year, they charge for parking at the school as well.

We already knew that Gahs4ever. Thanks :!:

My two cheer-leader granddaughters called to check and they were told the game is still on and the bus is leaving at 5:30. Good luck to both teams tonight.

Chillicothe 104- Jackson 40. Chillicothe's starters did not play the 4th quarter. Good job Cavs!

104 points and the starters didn't even play the 4th? Wow, that is quite an impressive performance by the Cavs. Looks like they're headed into Friday's battle against Zanesville with a lot of momentum.

The Ironmen need to keep their heads up. Things will get better as long as they keep working hard.

chilli starters played a little over 2 qtrs.... they led something like 36-7? 1st qtr. subs played the majority of 2nd. starters played till the 2 min. mark of the 3rd leaving with the score 71-17....the 3 jv kids and 2 subs scored the final 33 pts. chilli only pressed the 1st qtr then went with the smothering half court defense. does jackson only have 7 kids on varsity? thats all that warmed up in pregame... chilli's 104 pts was 2 shy of the record 106

Total dominating defensive performance in the 1st qtr by the Cavs. I believe we put up 35 in the 1st qtr. All of it based on defensive pressure, excellent shooting and a team that came out focused. That was a concern, but they were not looking ahead, nor did they look tired.

I will not comment much on the game, because it is obvious Jackson is young and undermanned this year. With the Cavs up 41 at half the only question was the final score. I will comment on the play in the 4th quarter. Both teams played well as Dobbins and #44 started getting on the board. Our reserves shot lights out and got to the century mark so kudos to team.

I always mention the starters, but tonight, I want to mention Ron Smith, Jordan Benson, Mike Turner, Mike Hamilton, James Vanvorris, Nathan Woodworth and Alex Grow, Gregg Volkinburg along with Mike Newman (hurt). These kids flat out play there heart out when they get on the floor and I can tell you they push the starters in practice. You cannot have an excellent ball team with everyone contributing. For the many that were not there tonight, these kids also put on a show tonight. Hamilton and Turner shot lights out, while Grow coming off a football injury hit a huge three ball. The others scored, defended, rebounded and combined this group went for 40 plus pts. They will not make the headlines or probably get their picture in the paper, but they deserve some recognition.

GO CAVS!!!

bronc,

6 in double figures might be a record. Awesome performance from the young kids on the bench.

GO CAVS!!!
