I would say outside of Meigs County most people thought Meigs played the "underdog" position Friday at Alex and we saw what happened there. Vinton seems to struggle at Meigs so I think it will be close for that reason. I think the perimeter game for both teams is their strong suit. There are two teams that are having very good seasons where their fans bought in big time due to their high point totals and both have given up a ton of points in their first big tests of the season.
Both will be fine, better to be brought back down to earth now than in the tournament. Meigs will tighten up the D and it should be a closer contest in the next meeting.

There was way too many individuals on the court tonight instead of Team.
I would like to see a changes in defense every so many possessions to change it up and keep them on there toes...But once we are set on one defense we stay with it the whole half even if it isn't working...Same thing on Offense...Need some element of surprise and keep them guessing.
But those are just my thoughts. We couldn't hit a 3 for nothing..I think we hit one, maybe 2. Just lots of selfish play tonight.
With that being said, I don't think it's an ongoing issue, I think they all wanted it too bad tonight and wanted to be the one to do it instead of trusting in their teammate.
Once again, Just my thoughts. We will be okay...As a Meigs fan, I would also be lying if i didn't feel that we even got a little homered on our own court, but wasn't a game changer.

As a Meigs guy I hate to admit it but I think you're right. All pressure is gone now so hopefully they can just play good team ball and keep getting better before tournament time.

Very good team effort from the vikes! I seen a comment about the refs again I got to say I have watched a lot of games this year not just this one refs have been awful.
