Waterford had like 5 team fouls for the game. WOW!!!!

Goodluck to Waterford.

That was because Waterford played inside in the paint and took the ball to the hole while south galia was jacking up 25 footers all night, it wasnt a coincidence.

So you are seriously saying that we never got fouled on a shot and Waterford only fouled us 5 times.

I am guessing since we "jacked" up 25 footers all night, Waterford had an all out "Aerial Assault"

3-Point Makes/Attempts

South Gallia - 7-21
Waterford - 4-25

Im not gonna lie, a smaller team probably will foul more against a team that is alot bigger than them. But for a smaller team not to go to the foul line the whole game against a team full of shot-blockers is a little funny and a 6'9 "phenom" who is everywhere. I guess you know what your getting into when you get into the tourney and the officiating though.

I am not blaming the refs. We should have won that game. It was ours to have and we lost it. I am just thinking about how maybe a few free-throws would have helped out.

Why did Cunningham sit out the whole first quarter?

Very good game, still cant get over wells throwing up with 3 minutes to go in the game. As far as the refs, typical sectional game, not a whole lot called either way. And for all the 25 footers!!! I think his Number was 24, off of Waterford, he shot more then anyone else on the court, maybe in the building that night!!!! Waterford has the potential to be a very good team, but they don't really play together. Two passes and a shoot, and most were not good shots considering that they were playing a team with the tallest player being 6'1". But all that stuff aside, South Gallia did really good in the first half. I went over at halftime and talked to the Rio Grande scout and East coach and they were pretty much shocked. The pressure in the third hurt us, still cant figure out why we took the ball up the side line 5 straight times against a zone press, but all well. I am also glad to see Cardwell start shooting like we thought he was going to do all season!! Just kidding! This makes the second year in a row that waterford has ended our season. Maybe this will have a better outcome if their is a third part to the story next year, lol.
