I do apologize basketball fans and to noreply for my comment...I'm usually not the one to let things under my skin, but I did and shame on me..Chillicothe never gets respect they sometimes really deserve..I don't know anyone from Warren but the teams they always produce gets my respect..yea I know its opinion, but come on..numbers don't lie

The Evan French....Zach Johnson matchup...can French drop another 40? Zach plays great D...we'll see...Go Cavs!!

I hope this is one of those battles that gets to the 4th quarter with both teams playing well....and then who executes at the end wins the game....I expect it to go that way but who knows? This is a game of #1 seeds with the winner getting a huge momentum boost for the post season but the loser will be alright and will likely advance deep as well....the Johnson factor will be interesting to see how it plays out....Chilli shot the ball so well without him in the first game, maybe that was one of the best offensive games overall for the Cavs this year.....Johnson on French that will be something to see.....regarding the Cav hater comment and response, we at Warren perhaps are not privy to all the history but not sure where the perception that the Cavs don't get respect, just look at the resume and it speaks for itself....however on the flip side, I take offense to the poster who continues to harp on the Warriors being chockers when it comes to playing Chilli, I assume that is an outlier who doesn't represent the Cavs Nation....I don't see how you can demean 2 one point losses last year as chocking? oh well, I guess the only way to stop that kind of nonsense is to win....The Warrior boys will be ready this time, I don't see us getting down 24-7 in the first quarter....should be a different game tonight....Cav fans have a safe ride over, might get some sunshine on the way over.....GO BLUE!!!

If you are refering to me I didnt say choke. It just seems everytime I read the threads on the Warren games the Warren fans go straight HAM on getting ready for these games and let themselves down. In no way did i mean it offense. I follow the Cavs pretty close as it is my Alum. I miss things though. Out of curiosity when was the last time the Warriors have beat the Cavs?

Nevermind I did the research. Thanks to MaxPreps Warren beat Chilli 2 years ago. Since joining the league Chilli is 7-2 against Warren if I counted correctly.

Way off topic I know sorry. Just doing some research while at work! :)

Go Cavs!

Here is the thing, Warrior Frosh you do not represent "Warrior Nation", BV does not represent "CAVS nation", nor does rabeanos, or myself, or any other poster on this or any sight. Theses sites are for the expression of personal opinion. My posts do not claim to represent any other person's, or people's opinion. The idea that any one person or persons represents the opinions of any other people or groups of people is a farce. Converse with amicably, disagree, argue or fued with any individual you want, but never, never assume or believe any one person or groups of people ever speaks for a whole community of HIGH SCHOOL sports fans.

The game; I wish upon wish I could head over 70 and down 77 to see this one, but my mother had some surgery at OSU yesterday and the kids and I are going to spend the evening with her. I love watching Chilli vs. Warren hoops games. I love watching how hard the Warren kids play and how much desire they have to beat Chilli. Chilli has come out on top more often than not, but several of those games could have gone the other way. Chilli will have to shoot as well as they did at home(tough assignment at Warren) not turn the ball over, keep Johnson and London out of foul trouble, and hold French to under 28 to win. Give French his 28 and shut down everyone else and the CAVS win another nailbiter. Good luck to both teams, and fans from both sides, keep it clean!! It is just a HIGH SCHOOL basketball game!!

BV I really appreciate your repost to show that we can all get along. Lot's of class BV, you always have had it and may it continue. GO CAVS!!!!!

Im a Cavalier Alumni! Only thing we have in common is the blue and white! I will give it to you on the fan support though. The Warrior nation is mighty and strong. Unlike most of the Cavalier nation. I go to games now and its like really? We are the number one seed in the sectional year after year and we dont sell out every night? If I didnt live in Columbus I would be at EVERY game!

back to the game at hand. Whoever the young man was that dropped 40 has GOT to have some game. To do that in a highschool game in simply impressive. How has he done in recent games? I have not seen him play but would you Warrior fans say he is better than Cunningham of last year? Thought Cunningham was tough when I saw him. I cant see him going for 40 again. Doing that once a highschool career is tough let alone twice. Whats the seating capacity in Warren? I know opponents in the SEOAL get amped when the Cavaliers come to town. Heard the Portsmouth was insane. Wish our student section would do the same. The kids in the blue costumes are funny though, I graduated with one of their brothers. Sorry enough rambling from this Cavalier fan!

Go Blue and White!!!( from the 740 ;) )

Great to have some sensible dialogue going on....it was pretty quiet during the week until today....Warren did beat Chilli two years ago at their place, but it was tough with the 3 losses last year....that Cavs team had all the elements, they lost some key parts, but now this team seems to be playing very well due to the tough competition and playing together....French has been very consistent, being a big offensive contributer anywhere between 15 and 25 points, and has gotten tougher on D....this Warrior team has many very good players, and while French was the offensive force last game, it was the team effort that put them in a position to win with 3 minutes to go....they just made some uncharacteristic to's late and the Cavs hit the big shots when it counted....the Cav's pressure D had everything to do with it at the end....my mistake on the choke comment, he did say 'psych themselves out'....

We the Warren faithful are very proud of our boys and girls no matter what sport they are in, week in and week out we support them in every way by getting them to practice, going to games and everything in between. I know that Warren is looked upon by the rest of our league in some ways as the outcast because we are in farm country but that has no bearing on the matter of being an athlete, we have kids from farms, kids from bue collar famalies whose parents work at DuPont or Kraton on to mechanics, mailmen, and so on. It doesn't mean anything about what you do or where your from Warren Local but it's how we show our pride on game days and our kids see that, I know both of my kids love seeing the blue and white in the stands when they are on the field and they both have said it makes them feel great with support of family, friends and the community as a whole.

This game tonight will be a barnburner for sure and an emotional one, we will be there and wish the Cavs fans a safe drive to and from Warren and best of luck.
