If the SEOAL goes to five teams with Logan and they belong to the LCL they will be in.

Who are these 2 teams who want to join?

Regardless of what the SEOAL does, Logan should go to the LCL.

I could see Point applying and maybe Marrietta if the ECOL is having problems, but with Logan on the verge of leaving I just couldn't imagine anyone wanting to join.

The bus rides to the LCL school isn't that bad. Most of the bus rides for Logan have been an hour of more. Even way back when I was in school.

The SEOL clock has struck 11 O'clock and that in part is sad. There is a great opportunity to create a strong league that can compete with big city schools. This league could bring recognition to our southeastern Ohio for most schools . Playing up and more media attention would add up to improving each schools programs . Southeast ohio pride would be great and yes some will be dominate in some sports but that goes in cycles. There is a number of schools that would be a good addition . ( Example Athens vs VC last night was a great atmosphere) that would really energize the Southeast. But as I said time is running out and down the road people will second guess their thought process . Sometimes the best thing to do is often the hardest . Logan needs a league , Warren needs a League , Jackson needs a league , but those are stable programs with great fan following . If I was a AD , SUP, OR BOE I would want my students to have the best opportunity to compete at a high level. Logan is a Good mix for The LCL and applaud the efforts of the AD,SUP and BOE TO FIND a league . I would hope that if accepted they would consider dual membership with the SEOL. In time there might be schools interested in joining The SEOL . Time will tell BUT FOR RIGHT NOW TIME IS RUNNING OUT . This IMO . Wish all in Southeast Ohio good luck in the up coming Tourney. Basketball is alive and well !!!!!

The trips to Waverly and Portsmouth and even Ironton are killers! with the trips to the Licking County area now that's a piece of cake!

Logan won't have a problem with it, but what will some of the other schools think ? They might not be so used to traveling around over the country side through multiple counties on winding roads.

Thats going to be one of the biggest concerns for the LCL schools. Travel was one of the biggest issues with some of the MSL schools. I was told they think of traveling to Logan like its a trip the Ohio river.
