The Vikings will be fine, they will learn from this and build from it.
Hawkeye ... Some of the 'older' guys, especially the carry overs from jjhuddle still call me 'pup' every now and then ... 93Bull(dog) ... 93(pup) ... I never thought I was that young when I started posting on jjhuddle - but I guess compared to those 'old timers' I was ... lol ... Hence the nickname 'pup.'

Good luck to both teams, but better luck to the Vikes.
A Vikes win tonight could very well sow up the TVC OHIO.

GO VIKES
You still have to travel TO WELLSTON and play a 'dangerous' Nelsonville-York team ... Wouldn't count on a league title until you beat at least two-of-the-three (Athens, Wellston, NY)
I agree. I was meaning if they could have knocked off the Dawgs in Athens: did not happen.
My hat off to the Bulldogs "D".

GO VIKES

How much D do you need to play when every shot V.C. takes is from the 3 point line guard the 3 they will not throw it inside because there is nobody there.

Still have to play good defense, and Athens did in this game. VC killed Athens from outside when they played in McArthur.
Very true VC has no inside game anyway, and when a team can play zone against the Vikes and put a defender in their face when shooting the "3" as did the Bulldogs; you see the results. The Vikes need to run to be effective on offense, beat the defense down the floor
You always need "D"!

GO VIKES

What is not mention here is the fact when you hold a varsity basketball team in the forties, you should win the game.

Meaning, I thought the Vikings played great defense also.

You have to get some 2nd shots on offense and like I said you can't do that from the 3 point line where all five guys seem to be most of the time.

Some people on another thread was bad mouthing Wahama cause they lost to some teams on the road, then beat them at home. I guess this is just another example of that happening without it meaning that the team cheated.
