i may be wrong but a bunch of fans have been saying the final score was actually 68-62. after maddox's 2 foul shots very late in the game the scorer's apparently added 2 to peake also . would love to know what the books say.either way great game to both teams.

Official score goes by the books, not the scoreboard. The scoreboard operator was late putting points on the board all night long. This is probably what the students saw...a late update of the book score. Not only that, the scoreboard lights were very difficult to read due to burnt out lights. We often had to look at both scoreboards to determine what the real score was.

All individual scores for Panther players add up to 70. Nice try, though. Final, 70-62.

Whoa! No no! I was just kidding! Call it a "friendly rivalry jab". I've read many of your posts, all respectful and I'm typically very much in agreement.

Next time, I'll give you one of these

For what its worth, the game on the 3rd has me on edge already. Peake fans have resigned themselves to another slugfest....and it is very difficult to win 3 games in a row like that.

Does anybody know what the all time series record is between these two?

My estimate on meetings between these two teams is 137 times since 1949 when Fairland was established.

My guess on all-time series is Chesapeake leading 78-59.
