I'm the owner of E A Home Supply, and the one sponsoring the picks contest. I told Ozzie to make it $50 for the regular season winner and $50 to the winner of the playoffs.

I had a great time playing in the football picks contest, and I know some effort goes into winning those things. So I figured it would reward the winners more by paying cash! Now, if this helps my business get a few new customers and a few sales, I may very well increase the prizes and there could be an even bigger deal in next years football contest.

I know some of you out there reading these boards are probably contractors or do it yourselfers who do remodeling work. E A Home Supply is a building materials supplier who caters to contractors and specializes in millwork. However, we do sell just about everything. Trusses, I-Joists, windows, doors, siding, cabinets, countertops, etc. I buy direct from the manufacturers and I have very little overhead, so I am usually the lowest price in the Chillicothe area. I will deliver outside the area though and I do not charge a delivery fee on large orders.

Now here's the plan: I'm going to try to keep track of how many sales come from this message board. Tell your friends and family members who build or remodel, to check me out. IF this is helping me make some sales, I WILL increase the sponsorship of the picks contest. For example, if I could sale 2 or 3 kitchens over the winter, I can see next years football contest paying $200 to the winner with $100 for 2nd place and $50 for 3rd place.
