I'm just saying you can't compare a team now to a team 10-15 yrs ago, the debate will go on forever....tell me who the greatest basketball team of all time is? Is it the lakers with Kobe and shaq, the bulls that went 72-10, the celtics with bird, mcchale and parish.... The celtics with rondo, pierce, Garnett, and Allen ... The pistons with Thomas, dumars, lambeer... The spurs with Robinson, Duncan ....Etc...this Manchester team eventually will end up having 3 players that all scored over 1,000 pts that played on the team together at 1 point ... Hanson, Blevins and combs ( not yet, but he'll get his 1,000 this yr ) and Blevins and Hanson played with Cooper and quinlan together at one point, all 1,000 pt scorers....that's alot of talent playing together in a 4 yr stretch.... Please don't say scoring 1,000 pts is nothing ... For reference let's say you play 20 games a yr ( lately it's been more cause of tourney runs ) you would have to play every gm since you were a freshman and avg 12.5 pts/gm.... And let's take into account that none of these kids were scoring many pts their freshman year, mostly because they were coming into an established offense exp. Combs as a freshman already had Blevins and Hanson , Blevins as a freshman already had Hanson and Cooper ...not exactly sure on the graduate yrs but you get the point... I'm pretty sure all these kids have avg'd 20 pts a gm or atleast very close to it... Can you name any other stretch of 4 yrs that Manchester had 5 different kids that could avg 20/pts a game?

 sounds like we have alote of love in the house. 6 yrs ago this program was done from that time til now they have 5 sec titles never has been done and 2 dist
titles in that time WE HAVE HAD 4 1000 POINTS SCORER Q HANSON BLAKE AND SOON COMBS AND ONE OF best player in kade west if he was with the coaching staf that the other 4 player had he would have go his. because those players played all 4 years of V ball. for next year team is another sec title you will have two bigs and a guard back a good 8th grade class coming up i wish the 8th grade coach would give more time to the kids 30 min not right to kids before game day both the 7 @8 grade class has the ballplayers to keep this run going and coach AL can do the job but his staff has to want it to not take it from him   play hard play smart you will always come out on top

More importantly what is their win/loss record over this stretch (last 4 years) versus any other 4 year stretch in Manchester basketball history?

I don't disagree totally on you with the win/loss, it's a factor ( albeit ) small when Compared to
The success of a team.... All the great teams in history of sports are defined by championships.... Look
At the NFL last yr, Seattle won their division with a 7-9 record then BEAT powerhouse new Orleans
In the playoffs, if they would of won a superbowl, do you think people would remember their record or
The fact that they won a ring? Ask Aaron Rodgers if he would rather have a 16-0 reg season and no ring like the pats in 2007 or be 15-1 and win another superbowl..... I'll bet my soul he says " I'll take the ring " lol.....this has been by far the most accomplished greyhound team, not only in manchesters history, but maybe in recent league history??

Halftime Ripley up 37-32. Score has been going back and forth with Ripley taking the lead with a minute left in the half.

I was thinking about this the other day. I think the only other SHL team to win district over the past 4 or 5 years was Eastern Brown. I could be wrong though so hopefully someone else can provide some information. I saw some girls shirt at the game tonight with the teams 2008 roster. Cooper and Quinlan were seniors, Blevins was a sophmore, and the current seniors were freshman. What a team!

North Adams went to the regionals in 2007 and 2009, I believe.
