I got to see the tape about 9 years later. It was 1/3-1/2 of a second AFTER the buzzer sounded. I have never witnessed 3 referees get off the court so quickly.

SVC - 1967 - no tie - We beat Laurelville straight up on a last second buzzer beater by Russ Merrin.
Logan Elm - SVC champs - we also beat them in a Christmas tournament at Zane Trace. They had some really great players - Hettinger, Knece, Bowers, Whitcraft are the names remembered.

^^^^^ The 06-07 title was shared with Western.

Eastern also won SOC1 in 2000-2001, not Clay.

Waverly Tigers were awesome from 70-75. Many of the games Waverly Scored over 100 points. What a basketball team we had then. Even more amazing to have watched it. Never forget Willy and the ponytail. Coach Hawhee, best coach in Waverly History!
