When did I say they returned all the key returning starters? First off it's redundant and they do return most of their key players from last year.

I'm sorry I mentioned Fairfield.

Reedsville Eastern is the best every year.

How dare I give my guess before the season starts when asked to do so.

My bad ace.

lol.....

Its ok no need to apologize. In the initial post, the only thing that I said was that I disagreed on how neither Waterford, or Eastern Reedsville were in your top5. I didn't say anything out of line, what else do you do on this forum, besides post your opinions, which is what I done about your post, if you can't handle it, don't give your opinion, because I can assure you that I will post mine in response to any ones that I disagree with...Where do you get that Eastern Reedsville is the best every year, I didn't say that or anything like that.

About Fairfield, you were the one who asked if I knew anything about them, and unfortunatley for you I know more about them than you.

And sure, I like the name Ace continue to use it, if you could.

Why did you not single out anyone else?

I'm just wondering.

This board is very eastern biased more often than not. The TVC Hocking will always remain supreme on here over the SHL....why I'm not sure other than more people are more familar with the schools on the WV side of Ohio.

As for the Eastern comment.....I don't know whether they are any good this year or not.....for years 2000-2005 they and Whiteoak were two of the top teams every year in the district....often facing and splitting their postseason appearances....but the previous two seasons Eastern has not been too good and I need more than a number of high school kids talking up their school to know what to believe about a team.

Fairfield might go 3-17 and they might go 13-7....neither of us know. I simply thought they had a very nice comeback season last year and do return many players from that team.

And yes Waterford appears to be one of the top 3 for sure....but I apparently spoke with the most bitter Waterford huddler of all lol.

Let me ask you this question 20 1/6 yards.......go back exactly 1 year......Fairfield was a returning 1-20 team.....with a 20-21 year old coach and one of the more challenging SE D4 schedules upcoming.......Did you guess that team to tie for 2nd in the SHL small schools and win 9 games? Personally I had them tagged for last in the SHL and hoping they could muster 3 or 4 wins as I know the family of the young coach decently well.........turns out I was way off and I may be again.....but I will not underestimate them.

I've been wrong before.....I'll be wrong again.

And just to prove we don't think that far off......of all the games in the picks contest we had the exact same winner picked in every game this weekend except for Chesapeake and North Adams.....which funny enough was the
game I was the most up in the air on as I believe both teams will be very good.....but I just went with what I thought was the more experienced and proven coach.

Enjoy your weekend.

Guess I did kind of single you out, just the first one I seen I guess..lol..

About FF "Heck No" I didn't see them gettin to the convo last year, and I really didn't think they could play in the same gym as Oak Hill, but it was atleast a contest.
I see what you are sayin, you rulled them out last year and aren't ready to do it this year, I get ya. IMO I just don't think I could put them in front of EHS or WHS, but thats just my opinion.

Looks like we'll just have to wait and see....g/l in your Pickem's....

LOL...

I was going to say something to him earlier, but there is NO POSSIBLE logical thinking behind his picks, as where in yours, it was kind of put together....

As soon as I seen Clay, I thought to myslef..."Just let it go"...lol

-Glad to hear Fairfield won though, how did Cox do? Double Double--I assume.

After watching Peebles last night, they have to be right at the cusp of the top 5 in SE Ohio in Division III this year. They are going to be good.
