One of their wins is against a team with a winning record, other than that, they have only beaten teams with losing records. I still think they need to prove themself. If you know your league is going to be weak, go out and schedule great teams to make yourself better! I also think Manchester needs to come up with some wins against some more great teams!

Manchester has only won one game (now two) against teams with winning records. Manchester has defeated Fairfield twice.

Well acm why don't you tell me who Western has beaten? They've won one game against a team with a winning record and that's Eastern.

I was simply making a statement. Why do you have to be so fired up? The SHL people say that Western has only won one game(now two) against a team with a winning record. I simply said that Manchester is in the same boat. They have won one game (now two) against teams with a winning record.

I don't know why it is such a big deal to be the number one, two, three or four seed when all four are going to be playing teams with losing records. Beyond that, barring any upsets, when they get to Athens most likely all teams will have winning records.

I believe they are trying to defend that Manchester deserves the 1 seed of Western due to their strength of schedule. They have played North Adams, Peebles, Ironton, Washington Court House, Rose Hill, Fairfield and Eastern. All of whom have winning records and are good teams!

Then, why didn't you say who they played and lost, instead of who they beat. Why not put one in the top four seeds and the other in the lower and let them play the first game. Would that please anyone?

If Southern could win out until the draw they would have wins over Chesapeake and 2 wins over Waterford. Could this get them the 1 seed ?

It's interesting to hear opinions that argue Manchester should get the higher seed because they have played a more difficult schedule than Western. I'm speculating here but I submit that Manchester played the schedule they played in order to prepare them for the tournament as a whole and didn't schedule those games to assist in politicking for the #1 seed. If they wanted to do that they would have scheduled differently.

If the seeding is awarded based on records, Western deserves the #1. If the seeding is awarded based on the quality of the basketball team, we'll find out later in February when the two teams meet who is the better team.

Western just got beat by 20 @ Paint Valley, so does everyone still think that they'll get the #1 seed?
