Southern vs East @ The CONVO

This game will be interesting. I have seen both teams play. It will be the age old battle in basketball of what is better...size or quickness. Southern has the size. East has the quickness. If East gets out in transition and are hitting from deep, then they will give Southern all they want. Good luck to Coach Caldwell.

I think all of Meigs Co. wants a 3rd game between Southern and Eastern. Last game between these 2 went down to the last second.

Both teams are making a return trip to the Convo from last year. The district semi game is Tuesday at 8:00.

The early game will be Western Pike and Eastern Miegs with the two winners meeting up in the District Final Saturday

Hear there is a student bus going to the game, hopefully the students go in full force and will be a loud student section at the Convo instead of quiet like at home games.

If they won't come to home games, seriously doubt they'll flock to a game 2+ hours away.

some kids go, but some do not....last year more students went to the convo because they took a bus.

sometimes you get more kids at games like this.

esp with a bus provided, I was in the office and I think 8 bucks got a kid a bus ride to and from, and a ticket in.

2 hours up, 2 hours back,,,,2 hour baLL game= 6 hours total.

now where else, can you get a baby sitter for that??

I believe they are doing the same as last year and do games on the bus and give out prizes....it would suprise me if they didnt

well i am happy to say that i am taking the student buss,all i no is there is 50+taking the buss talk about packing them in! not only do the students get a ticket and a round trip but,the permission slip stated pizza will be provided! mom and pops its a package deal!i do hope to see a big out come of fans.........and let me tell you a little something about THE tartans fans and community........we turn out to games when were called upon and being away.......all the moor fun .....look for me ill be there!
