Why that matchup. I would say Hooper will the top defensive player this year. I agree though Fort Frye has the best team.

What a joke!!!!!

1st of all, who in the hell is Francis?
Hooper (MC) will average @20pts a game, so how is he not in the top 5.

I always liked watching Tanner Clark play defense.

Even if he does play he won't even come close to Kiefer or Clark defensively.

Caldwell may suffer early in the season due to the fact that they only have five players right now. Even when the football players get back it may take them a few weeks to get back in to basketball shape. They may need a few weeks to get rested and healed from weeks of football.

Hooper is not playing.
Couldn't see him being best defender or averaging 20 a game anyway.
Super athlete, just couldn't see that from him this winter.

Oh I agree he wasn't scoring anywhere near 20. Watched them at the Marietta shootout this summer and Hooper had a meltdown and Scooter went off.

Hurts MC's depth for sure.

So you are going to put Francis on an all PVC before he has played one game in the PVC. Might be a little pre mature on that one.
Like to see the kid play first. He might deserve to be on the list but I think we should see him in real game action first. Frontier, shenandoah and Monroe Central surly have a good enough player to be in contention for this list.
Anyone got an idea of starters for all pvc teams.

I do agree about shenandoah having run out a good coach. They pretty much have sucked since he left. I do think the new coach could be successful but he needs a few seasons to get his stuff put in place. Parents stay out and let him coach. I agree with easterndsspy about league being wide open. Fort Frye might be in the best position but any given nite some team plays their best and knocks someone off. (might be first time I have agreed on something Easternd has said)

Yes you are probably right. I have only seem francis play at a summer team tournament at Marietta college but he dominated some good teams and I have heard nothing but good things about him.

Fort Frye won't be big but they are long all 5 starters 6-2 or taller. Sr Carter Kiefer 6-2, Sr Derek Layton 6-2, Sr Carter Lang 6-4, Jr Justin Anderson 6-3, Jr Jacob Prittchard 6-4. Young off the bench with So Tyler Bradford , So Grayson Schott, and Fr Tate Engle.
