P Floyd,
Has the coaching staff been announced yet?
Is Koons still on board?

This is what I have come up with so far. Feel free to correct me if I`m wrong Mr. Floyd.

Varsity - Helber (coach K is gone)
Res. - Landis (per Logans web page)
9th - Open
8th - Swinehart (per Logans web page)
7th - Barrell (Im guessing)

Got to be careful with Koons........good basketball mind, but he has a serious forked tounge. Never no if he is telling the truth or not.

Koons told everyone he had the Nelsonville job in the bag. Then he tells this story about the termoil in trimble and how they contacted him to take back that job. So i did a little investigation with the people who run these two progarms and found out the truth."He aint going nowhere but back to Logan" All a crock that he has told . So good luck logan we never wanted him back. Watch and see how he will try to undermine logan as he did at the other program he has been associated with.

trubbguru,
That is exactly what I am talking about. I had heard both of those stories about Nelsonville, and Trimble. I was also told he said he would never coach at Logan again.

Not sure what I was thinking to leave off the JV Coach for this season, let's try that again:

Varsity Head Coach ... John Helber
Varsity Assistant ... Greg Koons

JV Coach ...Gregg Landis

Freshmen Coach ... Bobby Cassady

8th grade ... Gary Swiinehart
7th grade ... Mike Barrell

Sorry about that Moonshine ...

In a few games that I went to last year --I thought when some of the JV were put in they played better ball.

Logan looks to have a solid group of basketball first players. 8 or 9 juniors and 3 seniors.

Gaven Jourdan, 6-1 Jr SG
Anthony McNeil, 6-3 Jr PG
Tristan Myers, 6-3 Jr F
Luke Miller, 6-1 Sr SG
Josh Muntzner, 6-4 Jr F(Banger)
Josh Vermillion, 6-3 Jr F
Ronnie Webb, 6-3 Sr F
Pat Klinger, 6-2 Jr PG
Jacob Wolfe, 5-9 Jr SG
Cory McCarty, 5-9 Jr F
Nick Wotring, 5-9 SR PG

This will be the core group I would think based on last year and returning players.

Loganchiefsnation,
You forgot Nick Wotring
Rumor has it that Miller is not playing. I talked to one of the seniors and he told me Miller has not been to any baskeball workouts this fall.
Are you sure you havent stretched a couple of the players on your list?
