just got a word that Waterford wins the JV game 34-29..Belpre JV seems to be struggling in the early season..hopefully they can come along as the season goes on.

Lots of fouls called lots of turnovers for both teams. Just like the Fort Frye game this team is proving to be a 4th quarter ball club. Playing clutch when it counted making the plays they had to make and hit the free throws they had to hit.

WATERFORD - Markie Tate's triple-double of 25 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists was too much for host Waterford to rally from on Tuesday as Belpre walked away with a 78-68 triumph.
Aside from Tate, the Golden Eagles (2-0) also got a double-double of 17 points and 13 boards from Reggie Simms while Josh Campbell scored 13 points and Channing Parsons had 10.
Chad Offenberger and and Derek Ginther scored 19 and 17 points, respectively, for Waterford, which dropped to 0-2 on the season.

Lol i was about to say the same thing...which one is it? Either way, doesnt sound like this was a very impressive win for the eagles..but none the less, a win is a win. Who is up next for Belpre?

they play At Meigs next tuesday the 15th, then play at home vs rival Warren on Wednesday the 16th.

LOL, gotgame..are you serious? how am i hating? The article said he had a triple double, a triple double is impressive. I have never been a hater, i have nothing but support for these kids, so get your facts straight before you get on here and run your mouth.
beleagle..Tate did indeed have a triple double, the article got it right..not a real impressive win, you're right..but a win is a win, they are 2-0, great start for Belpre.
