End of 3rd quarter

Oak Hill 32
Burg 15

Burg still can't buy a basket. The turnovers are fairly even, but Oak Hill is scoring off of them and the Burg isn't.

Final

Oak Hill 41
Burg 29

Too little to late for the Burg. They finally outscored the Oaks in the 4th 14-9 and cut the lead to 7 at one time, but just couldn't get anything to fall tonight. Oak Hill hit their free throws, out rebounded the Pirates, and shot the ball better and deserved the win. Congrats to them and good luck the rest of the season.

Especially with the Oaks packing the zone the Burg definetly needed outside shots tonight. Congrats Oaks. Good luck with the rest of the season to both teams!

Not sure where Burg was tonight...???? Great game Oak Hill, looks like another good season ahead of you and long post season.

Burg didn't get anything going tonight...Not one player could hit a shot under the bucket or outside..???

I couldn't believe at 1 min.43 seconds left in the game and Burg was down 9 points, they were not fouling!!! They let the oaks set up a stall game and Burg didn't foul until 59 seconds??!!! Questionable to me or simply gave up??? Not sure...

Burg could struggle at Northwest this Friday.....Hope they get there act together.

It was one of them nights that Burg couldnt throw it in the ocean..Could be long season for Burg if they dont start getting some offense going.. Congrats Oaks on your win..

I think Burg done a good job on Defense the whole night and done enough to keep them in the game.. Offense was no where to be found last night, it was one of them nights that every team thru out the year will have.. I believe these boys can turn it around if they gel more as a team and keep working hard .. JMO if they could open up the floor up more and look for some fast breaks they could generate some offense..I saw that once the whole night last night and they got a lay up out of it.. I feel like this team could go either way the rest of the season.. Turn it around or fold.. I think they will get the ship on track.. Good Luck the rest of season Burg..

Props to the Oaks but the Burg must be really down this year.

The SOC II is really interesting this year. It looks like Oak Hill and Waverly, then Valley, South Webster, Burg, and Northwest, then Minford, and then West. It is really competetive.

Hard to imagine the Burg struggling to score to this extent this year.......but there's still time to improve......Oak Hill looks like they will be tough to knock out of that #1 seed at Jackson.

I think the Burg does look like they are down this year. Just my opinion. I hope they get it together as a team, b/c if they don't, it will be a long season (or maybe I mean it will be a short one?)

i couldn't agree more 77. they couldn't get a rebound all night and the 2nd chance point chances was a killer. IMHO they are lucky they did not lose by 20 or 30 points
