Waverly holds Leslie to 9 points as Roback did a great job on him.
Kreig Crabtree responded with 5 threes and finished with 19 points but had little help.

Waverly was lead by Martin with 20 points, Kretzer and Johnston added 11 each, Roback contributed 4 and Malone 2.

Blankenship and Hall each added 2 for Northwest while Kenny Crabtree contributed 1.

Waverly lead 11-5 after one and 19-13 at halftime. The Tigers lead 31-24 after 3 and pulled away in the 4th.

Waverly is still struggling offensively but we'll take a 15 point win over a dangerous Northwest ball club.

Waverly will have to be on their game Friday at Valley, who just beat South Webster.

How about that defense? Leslie is one of the best players in the league and Waverly holds him to 9 points. If you bring a big man in as an offensive threat: Roback locks down on him, bring a guard as an offensive wizard: Johnston, Malone and Remy will give him fits. Keep playing the D tigers.

Did Kelley see more minutes in this game compared to the SW game?
