The chances of OU being a first round host are slim this year. If the men's team would have beat the Buffalo Bulls on the road this past Saturday, then it was possible to be a host, but they didn't play the final 3 minutes of the game.

So far, Western Michigan has a 7-8 record with 1 remaining vs 8-7 Ball State.
Ohio is 6-9 with one remaining vs 6-9 Bowling Green
Toledo and Northern Illinois have locked up the 12th and 11th seed, respectively.

If Ohio wins and Western Michigan loses, Ohio has the tiebreaker and will host Sunday. If neither of these happen, Ohio goes on the road and the schedule change was for nothing.

I dont think I will even make it up there this year. Not worth the drive for only two games with our team out already. You all have fun and be safe.

mhs95_06,
It will not be 2.5 hours between games. The last girls game BEGINS at 5:00p.m. and will be over around 6:15p.m.-6:30p.m. The first boys game is at 7:30p.m. That's only 1 hour.

You are right, I mis-spoke, or mis-typed, or mis-thought, or mis-somethinged. I meant 2.5 hrs between game start times which is about a half hour longer between games than they usually allow for district finals with the awards and cutting down and replacing the nets. Will they clear everyone out and you have to buy another admission between the girls and boys games?

I'm quite happy about it since they got two games off the sabbath when I don't go, and I'll get to see local Belpre play.

Because the OHSAA has no idea what they are doing. :) Since changing the bracket format last year, I have no hope for this organization. I would really like to know the updated team records that they seem to ignore until the Final Four.

It's Basketball:30

BTW, listen for my screen name when Lou mentions, "...knows what time it is." I heard it 4 times last year, I'm practically a celebrity down there.

Guys, the OHSAA does not have the updates because the OHSAA does not run these tournaments. All oHSAA members are currently at and running the State Wrestling tournament. The District Athletic Boards run the Sectional and District Tournaments. If you wànt information got to your District Boards sites, they are all updated and have the brackets and times.

I wonder if this years District tourney is being sponsored by BP, Chevron or Shell. Someone's in bed with Big Oil. I'm burnin' a lot of fuel this weekend and next. :122245 :122245 :122245

I think it is, one man owns three stations in town, with three different suppliers however they all three keep the same prices....Makes you wonder.
