i was listening to the meigs/eastern game and they said the score at the end of the third quarter was southern 41 and r.v.31 so southern only scored 3 points in the 4th.

Newspaper said the score was 31-21 after 3 quarters.

thanks,my bad i may have heard it wrong or they said it wrong but if r.v had 21 points after 3 quarters then they scored 22 points in the 4th. sounds like southern might need some more conditioning.

I have a very hard time believing Southern would need more conditioning. They are fairly young and it was the season opener, that might have something to do with it.

Sounds like Southern pulled out a close 1. It would be hard for me to believe that Southern wasnt in good condition. Coach Caldwell would have had to really lightened up in the preseason. Congrats to the Tornadoes on the win. Good luck to the team and Coach Caldwell the rest of the way.
