Wasnt at the game either but I dont believe for one minute that Manchester ran the score up because if they wanted to they could have probably scored 120 points and held Western to under 30 if they wanted to. Somebody put up the quarter scoring and I think you will see the true picture. In a blowout I always look at the totals after the first quarter to see how bad it could have been.

yeah I agree. I haven't heard the first comment that said they ran the score up on them.

actually chitwood fayetteville has the same amount of league championships that peebles has over the last 10-15 years and they are truly a small school as they have always been d4.
actually it reminds of something a wise man once told me" be careful about stepping on others on the way up the mountain because many times you meet them again on the way down."

Now sparky, you know I meant no offense to the fine Fayetteville Rockets. They just play in a tough league, with some very stiff competition. SHL Division 2 is like the AL East this year...very hard to rise to the top. If you think that Whiteoak, Fairfield, Peebles and Manchester will finish behind Fayetteville, say so.

And you're definitely right...Peebles hasn't won many championships since the 80s, when we won 7 in a row. How many has Manchester won in recent years? It seems like Whiteoak would be the "small school" team of the decade, if I'm remembering right...

Josh told me there was going to be an SHL website starting up this year that had past league champions...anyone hear tell of this?

I get a lot of my scores by calling c103 in West Union, or going to their website at http://www.c103.fm/2010-2011%20SHL%20BA ... BOARD.html

(they deserve a plug here and there).
