Failed logic MikePike...Apples to Oranges comparison. Eastern also beat Minford who also beat Valley. Basketball is a game of matchups. If Valley is hitting their shots they can roll anyone the way they play....including Waverly by a large margin. Eastern had lost to Valley by 2 a couple weeks prior. So, which game do you use to compare...2 pt loss or 30? that is why the games are played on the court.mikepike wrote:If scores mean anything, Waverly lost to Valley by 1, and Eastern lost to Valley by 40+, if I'm not mistaken.
I figure it will be Piketon and Waverly for the title, with the Streaks coming out on top. Pressure, pressure, and more pressure will be the deciding factor for the Streaks. GO STREAKS!!
With that being said, Waverly is the favorite against Eastern IMHO. It is a D2 school playing a D4??? Even though they are winless this season (hard to believe), with Kretzer and Martin in the lineup the Tigers have the potential to beat anyone. I will be pulling for the Eagles to pull off a shocker! Either way...Piketon will be too much for the Tigers or Eagles in the championship.
