I would put McMaster over Dion and Combs....sorry I watched Dion and McMaster play on the same AAU team, but Dion is a 6'4 center who can shot and is a very good player, but where would he play on this team?

Okay Iceman I think i could build one to compete!

McMaster- (6'6) G/F Chesapeake
W. Evans- (6'1) G Portsmouth
E. Salyers- (6'4) F Fairland (Very Under the Radar due to his team isnt very good)
B. Yates- (6'3) G Lucasville Valley
J. Daniels- (6-6) C Peebles

London. Chillicothe
Kretzler. Waverly
Chapman. Jackson
Mckinley. Portsmouth
Combs. Manchester

There you go.. Put these 5 on the same team and basketball in Southeastern Ohio would be tops...
Try and build your 5 to put against this team..........
Good Luck....
Hard to make a better lineup from juniors than that one but i'll give it a shot.

Starters
Malik London-6'8"-C-Ton of potential but still needs to develop a stronger offensive game beyong the occasional dunk.
Dion McKinley-6'5"-PF-Great post player who is able to bang the boards and put in the occasional long distance shot.
Jake Kretzer-6'7"-SF-Can dominate players at this position in SEO due to his size...good outside shooter
Austin McMaster-6'6"-SF/SG-Sort of in the mold of Kretzer with his versatility.
Jordan Payne-6'1"-SG/PG-Solid ball handler who makes smart decisions every time down the court...really carried Eastern Brown when Chase Lawson was out.

Subs
Blake Yates-6'2"/6'3"-Valley's best player...does alittle bit of everything for the Indians. Would probably play SF on this roster as a sub for Kretzer.
Travis Combs-6'2"-SG-Combs would be near the top of the list for SGs. Could sub for McMaster.
Jacob Daniels-6'6"-PF-Solid younger post player who can come out and give you a double double every night if asked..has a lot of potential. I would switch him and McKinley in and out.
Wayne Evans-6'1"-SG/PG-Not sure why so very few have mentioned him...solid SG who can really hurt you from downtown. My first guard off the bench at the point for Payne.

Since we are dealing with hypothetical rosters I figured I would throw out this one. Put the team you mentioned above against Peebles with all the players who were originally in their system but transfered right before junior high.

Treg Setty-6'8"-Currently Mason County's best player....signed with D1 Southern Illinois.
Jacob Daniels-6'6"-Strong post player who is getting better everyday...probably the best big man in the SHL next season.
Eric Carroll-6'-Currently Hillsboro's best player.
Blake Justice-6'3"-Top SG in SEO, Peebles's all-time leading scorer, D1 Akron Commit.
Andy Countryman-6'2"-Still my pick for top PG in the SHL when not in foul trouble.

Kretzer is a very nice player...but good shooter he is not. Just because you're 6'6" and you make the occasional 3 does not mean you are a good shooter. Kretzer shoots alot of 3's making very few of them.

That and dribbling with his left hand are the two parts of his game he needs the most work on.

Seems like that is one aspect of his game that people credit to him due to his height and every game ive seen him play(2) he has been consistant. That was just what I got from the few games ive seen him play.

I wish he, his brother Trevor(6'9"SF-asked to walk on at Oklahoma St.,and his cousin Eric Carroll(6'-Hillsboro's best player, would have been a heck of role player for us) would have stayed at Peebles. We might have had a couple extra banners hanging on the wall but thats all just speculation now. Mason County got a heck of a player and I wish him the best of luck at Southern Illinois.
