Datchillicav,
Thanks for taking the time to do the math. Whoever left Logan Elm off the list should have their voter's rights revoked. This will be an awesome poll as long as the teenagers dont take over and just vote for their local team.

Re: Elite 8 poll
Yes. I wholeheatedly agree. We all have favorite teams and whether we like it or not are somewhat biased but I would appreciate if everyone can try to be as objective as possible. I will post the new poll on Sundays with a recap of who was where in the final standings from the previous week. I will stop counting votes submitted after midnight on Saturday and will try to post the new one sometime Sunday.jimmy chipwood wrote:Datchillicav,

Sound good to everyone? I'm kinda making this up as I go along based on what the people want. I think next week I will debut the new name as "The People's Elite 8" maybe a "sponsored by datchillicav" lol. What does everyone think?

Re: Elite 8 poll
Also, let's all try to be respectful of the fact that other people are entitled to different opinions from the majority. That's the point in a poll afterall.
I will try to recap some of the teams' scores but probablt wont have time to do one as detailed as floyd did so if anyone wants to post a recap of scores for the top teams soon after I open the thread that would be appreciated as well. As I said, I will do my best.

Re: Elite 8 poll
Good work, datchillicav.........a poll is a WEEKLY evaluation of teams........I would rather see Portsmouth play their best basketball in the second half of the season and be primed for the tournament, regardless of how anyone's poll ranks us.
PHS could make a big poll statement next week with games at Ironton and at Warren.
It's just fun to see the Trojans doing better on the hardwood these last 2 years, compared to the 7 straight losing seasons before that.

Re: Elite 8 poll
Its hard to put Peebles in the top 8 when they didn't even beat Manchester and they aren't in the top 8.
