waverly at O.H 2/4
Re: waverly at O.H 2/4
Very Interesting! Coach Persin and this group of Seniors is now 8-0 against the Tigers.
Coach Persin is like I, if you were to see him walking a chihuahua, it would still look masculine.

The Exciting One,
I have no clue what you're talking about. What lies have I spread on this site? If you're going to call me out for something know what you're talking about and share your name. Mine is plain to see.
Waverly was missing their two main scorers to the tune of 40 points a game, their top 2 rebounders, top 2 defenders and their two general leaders as well as the much improved sub Aaron Heibel who didn't make the trip. The Tigers without those 3 showed me allot last night and yes, soccerfix, it was a pleasure to watch two teams play a good game of basketball.
Kelly was on fire and Hensley had the opportunity to step in and show what he can do. Would love to see JP White shoot the ball more and I thought the Tigers could have pounded in to Hensley a little more.

Smurray,
What is wrong with Jake? Hopefully nothing serious. Tigers don't need anymore misfortunes. Truly a season full of them.

Jake is seriously ill, as is Heibel. Neither were even able to make the trip. It has truly been a crazy season. How many 1 point, OT, or buzzer beating losses can one team endure?
Re: waverly at O.H 2/4
Totally have to say...without waverlys top guns...you didn't play waverly...kretzer is the real deal...from tiger country...Ironton that is..
Re: waverly at O.H 2/4
We at Waverly know that, tigers90, but our young guns hung tough. We want to win in the biggest way but I think every Waverly fan was proud of the effort last night. Many thought we stood no chance and it would get ugly quick but the young Tigers showed us something.

Thanks Smurray. Both boys and Harrison are in my prayers. It seems like Jake was pretty sick during football season a few years back. He is a great kid. I feel bad for the seniors. This season has to be one of the strangest and wildest seen in a long while.smurray wrote:Jake is seriously ill, as is Heibel. Neither were even able to make the trip. The official who witnessed the "cheap shot" in question, gave Mr. all world coach Persin the option of sitting Mr. all class Hale the remainder of the game or he was tossing him which would be a two game suspension. (DID NOT HAPPEN)Witnessing the past two years of Oak Hill play I would guess Norm would have encouraged more of the same dirty play had the official not given him the choice. He was actually let off very easy. He should have been ejected with no questions asked. His flagrant elbow to the eye was not the first elbow thrown in that game and wasn't the last.
I don't understand how a coach can hurl the language Norm does and not be called on it while a player can lip a word in frustration and get T'd up.
NONE OF THOSE COMMENTS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH WHO WON OR LOST SO SAVE THE, "QUIT WHINNING RESPONSE". I wouldn't agree with that kind of play or that kind of language from Waverly.

It cracks me up all the slamming and trash talking that goes on behind the saftey of a computer screen by adults. But anyway..............I would like to thank the Waverly Coaching staff for having class. After the Oak Hill youth group sang the National Anthem and were lined up exiting the court, all of Waverly's Coaches lined up and high fived each and every kid. I thought that was cool as hell. And Im sure the kids will remember that for a long time to come.

The Exciting One,
If that did not happen than call the official a liar not me, that's what was told in the officials locker room at halftime. All of that is over and what we witnessed Friday night was refreshing. It is possible to play a game of basketball without all that drama isn't it?
