I still have some red shirts, but they all have OSU on them. Maybe Johnson's can hook me up.... :122245salemcat wrote:You need to come back home too!!! You do not look good in orange and black!!! :122245 :122245

Coach shoe puts a lot of time in with the program top to bottom. I think this years group will work as team and have a very good year. May see them at the convo this year for the first time since 07. Keep up the hard work over the summer. good luck to coach shoe and I'll be watching for an exciting year! ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

Falcons got good 8th grade kids coming up. They get a few pieces to go along with these kids, they will be fine for a few years.

Let's be real. There isn't a freshman to be that will start, I'd be suprised if any of them see significant playing time. With all the upper classmen there won't be much room for them for at least 2 years.

If you really believe that, you are in for a surprise... lol

Minford will finish 3rd at worst 4th in SOC II play with a trip to the districts this year
Re: minford basketball future
Getting to the districts will be tough in D3. Portsmouth, Ironton, Chesapeake and Valley all should be the early favorites to be sectional winners.CCC wrote:Minford will finish 3rd at worst 4th in SOC II play with a trip to the districts this year
Re: minford basketball future
I agree I think that's a pretty lofty goal they only have one player with deep tourney experience and he's a transfer new to the system. But a sectional Title might be in reach depending on there draw.

I expect Minford to be really talented this season. McCray, McBee, Howard, Sanford, Evans, and Gullion should contribute just to name a few. If I missed anyone, I am not a minford native.

I hope for a good season for former Trojan coach Josh Shoemaker.......a fine person who is a tireless worker........always striving to make his team better.
Re: minford basketball future
Starting 5 will be a toss up.. This team has potential to be good.. Depends on how hard the kids work.. I could see them finishing as high as 3rd or low as 7th on the SOC.. Someone will need to step up and be the leader of the team..
