Great game..Ironton is solid but really struggle shooting and Portsmouth will be scary to play at the end of the year

Congratulations to the Fighting Tigers........VERY PROUD OF THE TROJANS!!........49-48 game with 30 seconds left, even with 23 turnovers by PHS.

Portsmouth has improved by leaps and bounds in just a week.......the Trojans shot 50% from the field and 90% from the line vs. Ironton.......compared to 22% from the field and 30% from the stripe vs. South Webster.

Telling stat: 7 of the 8 players who played vs. Ironton had no varsity experience whatsoever coming into this season, starting a freshman and sophomore.......and in just 4 games, took one of Ohio's best D3 teams to the wire.

Really excited to see our Trojans improve so much.......and the improvement curve should continue. Coach Collins has these kids playing as a team, and the chemistry is beginning to show.
