Awesome job Warriors! The defense was outstanding not only on the floor but the gameplan the coaching staff put together was as well. That's a good Portsmouth squad lots of young talent that will have a say in the D3 district championship.
Re: Final: Warren 45 @ Portsmouth 31
Just thought I needed to put a little footnote on the Warren vs. Portsmouth game. The game was as I thought it would be, a good hard played high school basketball game by both teams. But the REAL highlight of the evening was what the Portsmouth PA man said before the Varsity game. He asked for a moment of silence and prayers for the victims and the parents of the shootings in the school in Conn. today. What a "classy" and thoughtful thing to do. From the coaching staff at Warren H.S., THANK YOU, Mr. PA man for reminding all in attendance that there are far more important things in life than basketball. Basketball is just a game!

Pegasus...Got a reserve score? Thanks. Logan also paid tribute to those killed Friday's shooting.

Crazy thing about it, Sky couldn't buy a bucket, yet he was by far our best defender on the evening. He played some of the best on the ball defense anyone will see all year on number 3 for Warren. But offensively, we need a lot of work......especially in a slow down game, when we're not making shots. They moved Ky're the point primary ball handler and Sky couldn't seem to find his mojo offensively, playing off the ball. That was a good Warren team, hats off to them.
