depends on the seeding ... I don't think a team like Minford or Chesapeake (this years peake team) would destroy NY ... the DIII is not as strong as it has been the last couple of years, the Buckeyes could get to the Convo and be competitive given the right match-up.

Aside from Athens with all the talent they have this year, Jay has pretty much dominated the rest of the league.

No offense here - but the win by NY on Monday was the first over VC since Jay Edwards hit a last second shot way back when (2 losses a year dating clear back to when Jay played? that's a lot of losses to one team) ... VINTON COUNTY has won 4-out-of-the-last-5 TVC-Ohio championships ... that is FAR from domination my friend.

But I am still happy with Monday's win ... lol ...

The Buckeyes have struggled against Vinton and Athens since the Dogs joined the conference. They have struggled again Vinton even longer, but it seems like each year they are getting a little bit better. If kids stay interested in Basketball at NY, they may be in the upper part of the TVC for a few years to come.

Not surprised! NY is a football school. Always have been and always will be! I'm sure Coach Boston will be glad to get these boys back in the weight room.
