They have beat some solid teams and have 6 losses to several solid City League teams. Traditionally the Nubians have been an uptempo style of basketball team, winning the District 4 out of the last 5 years. They've defeated a very good Harvest Prep team, with losses to Walnut Ridge and Newark within the 6 they've lost. They're 19-6 on the season.

Afrcentric by as many as they want. Too big strong and very very fast. Go very deep on the bench. Play a very tough schedule against mostly bigger schools. Playing the schedule that Trimble plays in no way prepares them for what they will face.

I'm not doubting Africentric is a very good team but to say they'll win by as many as they want because they are big, fast, and strong I'm assuming you haven't seen Trimble play. They're big, fast, and strong as well and coach Caldwell is a very good coach. I think we are in for a good ole good one

Little history lesson here. Howie has coached against the Nubians before, he knows what he's in for with this game. He took the Eastern team lead by senior Cody Dill, with Cozart and 6'8" Robbie Cross and gave the Nubians one Hell of a game at the "Barn" at the fairgrounds in Columbus. The smothered Cozart, but really didn't have an answer for the bigs, especially Dill, he did what he wanted to in that game.

Trimble will be ready, and Howie will have a sound game plan. Best of luck to the Tomcats. Love to see you beat the open enrollment, specialized curriculum school.........

Does anyone know the style of offense and defense Africentric plays. Looking at their schedule they have played in a lot of low scoring games

I've seen them once on TV. They play mostly grab-a**, but they are big and very quick. They are not impossible to beat - they have lost a few games along the way - but, they play a tough schedule. If Trimble played a very good game and shot well, I think they would have a chance to win.
