Since 2006, (including this year) Logan Elm and Vinton County have only been "road" teams a combined 3 times. Vinton County twice and Logan Elm once. Each of those 3 times, the two teams were 5 seeds. Talk about consistency!

Whoever comes out the Athens district at DII has a tough test ahead of them most likely via Whitehall-Yearling in the regional semis then most likely a John Glenn squad in the regional finals. The Athens regional has the 3rd, 4th, 7th, 9th, and 11th state poll ranked teams so whoever comes out of this region will be well tested.

Saw in the Ironton Tribune where it said "gym will be cleared between games". Is this correct?

They didn't last year at Logan so I can't imagine them doing it this year especially considering the time between games is less than 2 hours apart.

Someone will have to get by Unioto in the district semi's before worrying about the regionals. They are very, very solid and deep.
