Hats off to Tyler Claxon for taking Maddox out of his rhythm and causing him to shoot a little quicker then he wanted to.

Great job again by Seniors JD Widdig and Dylan Miller. Both played great in the 2nd half and basically took over.

Still don't understand why Fairland's coach left No 4 in the game in the 3rd qtr after he picked up his 4th foul

… #4 Chance Short picked up fouls 4 & 5 within a 10 sec stretch … literally while Coach Speed was looking down his short bench Short picked up number 5 …

And his 2 options of players who had played both had 4 at that point too. Not a great situation for the tough and gritty Dragons. The replacement was Flynn whom played the last 9 minutes with 4 fouls.

daniC … I don't know about you BUT I'm a fan of the get down in the mud, get dirty, hustling, not afraid anyone, hit you in the mouth kind of players like Coach Speed puts on the floor - Flyn, Campbell, Maddox, Warner fit the mold … I sit there watching these guys and think what if these guys were 6-2 or taller?!! okay they would all be linebackers probably LOL … I have been a fan of Nathan Campbell for FHS since he started for the Dragons as a freshman - wish he would get more involved with the offense … Maddox has been a starter since he was a freshman as well … my kind of players both of them … on a side note the Dragons climb to the District final without the play of 6-3 Trent Wilcoxen (torn ALC) having that other BIG to put on the floor would have made a difference imo ...
