I bought a seat on the fan bus - paid for by people who are buying the seats on it. $25 per person. No cost to school

Bus hauling players, cheerleaders, and coaches, paid for by fundraising efforts. No cost to school. Actually saving school money because they dont have to take their own buses spending money on fuel and driver.

nah, they left because the seoal is the worst football conference in Ohio but Athens saved 50k-100k switching leagues. Someone from Athens should have sponsored the fisher kid at Logan to go to Athens. All Athens needs is a center to rebound

And wasn't the SEOAL sending 3ish teams to the playoffs every year when it had 10 members? I'm so confused by that poster in general...

This is a great test for Athens, on the road against a team loaded with top recruits who will make a big tournament run.

but come on. Everyone knows Athens is lacking a center to compete with the state teams. But Athens does have the talent to win out of this area. I hope Athens makes it a good game so Watterson wont pick SE regional. Help everyone out

6'6 Nick Wells who had 18 and 7 (top on team in both categories) graduated.

6'7 Wing VJ King (14-6) returns as a sophomore and 6'6 wing Jalen Hudson (12 pts) is a senior. Those are the only starters back from last years State Runner Up. They were also the Irish's most talented players as well.

Their absurd schedule will have them prepared for the Bulldogs, but a well played game by the Bulldogs and staying out of foul trouble should give them a shot on Friday.

They also feature 6'5 Jibri Blount, junior son of NFL Hall of Famer, Mel Blount. He transferred from Linsly in West Virginia.

After the way Watterson handled Warren, they're coming down here. Remember the option for the Central is come down here or go play the best teams from Cincinnati/Dayton in the Fairmont regional. What would you do?

I don't know what time the buses are leaving, Floyd ... the 93Dog train will be pulling out around 3:00.

Goona be a long weekend of hoops and driving ... lol ... at least the drive to Chesapeake offers a little scenery with the Ohio river.

I'm pretty sure there is a JV game ... we were told at Power 105 the start time for varsity could be anywhere between 7:30 and 8:00.
