The SOC schools are pretty spoiled when it comes to travel as most schools are on right on top of one another. I am amazed at how close some are and am surprised we have not seen more consolidations in Scioto county. SG is a product of a consolidation and then a deconsolidation. As a result of it travels that far one way for the majority of its league games. In fact the shortest one way trip in the league is 42 miles. Be happy you only travel that far at the end of the year for sectionals.

Ironman hit the nail on the head ! Super sectional is the fairest way for all involved.

SV to SG isn't very far.

SV to Green might be the closest SOC...probably 45 min or so

I said League game. SV is about 20 miles and you are correct that's not bad.

In the super sectional a school could choose which site they were to play in. u can bet they would be willing to take the longer bus ride for a better chance for a win.

Super sectional with higher seed getting home game is how I would like to see it. As for who has shot to get through district..I can't see any team in division 4 beating Peebles. Other than that,a lot of parity this season.. SHL has some solid teams as does TVC and SOC. Should make for some good sectional and district matchups.

that could really lead to some long bus drives. from Reedsville to whiteoak or vise versa would be about 2 and a half hours.

I think maybe Waterford or Miller to Whiteoak or Manchester might be the winner.

Eastern Meigs is less than 1/2 hour from Athens....Waterford is about an hour

I think it's great to be a fan but there is not "1" SOC school that's within 15-20 pts of Peebles !!

I think anyone being realistic knows Peebles is by far the best D4 team in SE Ohio

I agree with Peebles been the best team in D4. I haven't gave much props for Ironton St. Joe in the past but I think right now early in the season they may be the best team in the Meigs bracket.

After the thrashing Southern took last night at Meigs I have to disagree with them even been in the top 5 at the Meigs bracket.

Symmes Valley is 5-1 with wins @ Beaver and South Gallia. Only loss was by 8 points to Oak Hill.
