I believe the records are up to date. Minford has a bunch of games to play over the next month.

Some big wins last night for the teams near the top, WCH at Xenia, Unioto at ZT, MT at McClain.

Huge games coming up before the draw:
Washington CH at Circleville (1-29)
Miami Trace at Unioto (2-8)
Miami Trace at Washington
Circleville at Logan Elm

Huge games for these teams, especially because all will want to avoid a possible 4/5 game.

#8 Hillsboro v #9 Jackson to play #1 Minford, MT, Unioto, Washington?
#2 Washington/ Unioto, MT, Minford v #7 McClain
#3 Unioto/ Minford/ Washington/MT v #6 Gallia
#4 Unioto/ Minford/ Washington/ MT v #5 Circleville

Looks like lots of options....

I'd say Washington and Circleville have toughest road to hoe. Milford, don't they play almost all d3?

Minford won't play a D2 opponent until the tournament starts. That could hurt them when it comes time for seeding, but they are a very good team regardless of their schedule.

This is the way I see the seading going even though Minford plays DIII I dont think many would want to play them. Although Courthouse lost to Circleville and has a tough game this weekend they should get the two seed. Unioto is playing much better right now and I give them the nod above trace and circlevile

Minford 12-2 *one loss to Huntington Prep
Washington CH 12-3
Unioto 13-3
Miami Trace 11-3
Circleville 11-4
Gallia Academy 9-8
McClain 7-7
Hillsboro 3-12
Jackson 0-15

Still have over a week until the sectional. If WCH wins out, I believe they will be the one seed. They've also played a pretty strong non-league schedule. If WCH loses another game, Minford is the No. 1.

It may go down that way bman, but that don't mean its right. If Minford has in reality 1 loss (you cant count HP) then the coaches should put them at the 1.

Huntington Prep does count as a loss, but it also counts in a SOS argument that Minford would use. No one else in this sectional would beat them, either.

WCH picked up a quality win over Bishop Ready, which should help its argument for the No. 1 seed. Two of its three losses are to DeSales and Logan Elm, which will be one of the top seeds in the other sectional. The Circleville loss looks a little worse after the Tigers fell to Southeastern.

I could at least make an argument for Minford as a two, but I'm not sure it's a real big difference as far as advantage wise.

I should add Minford does have a case for the No. 1 obviously, but being a lone vote in the seeding room could put it at a disadvantage. If WCH loses again this week, Minford would probably get the one then.

I know Coach Shoemaker has a great team and he does a nice job with them. They play hard, well coached, but I have to believe (to no fault of their own) that their schedule will hurt them a bit. What quality wins do they have? I know they played Valley tough, but they got beat.... It's too bad that teams don't know for sure what division they will be in before they schedule games for the years to come. Either way Minford is going to be tough tough out.

I'm sure Minford has a nice team and that is a disadvantage as far as scheduling, not knowing the OHSAA division. I could see any of the top five coming out of this sectional.
