Mixed feelings about you all and Webster having to play each other. A Jeep fan here but knew you guys were going to be tough and both teams had a good chance. That's behind us now and I for one want to wish New Boston the best of luck. Same applies to Wheelersburg boys and girls teams. You are playing for all the SOC schools now. Be great to have Division 3 and 4 state champs.

Coach Cox reminded me that when I student taught at New Boston in 1990 that he was my favorite student.

I think NB will pull away to a double digit win but not without a fight...Very disrespectful comment toward a respected and tradition rich program who has earned there spot to be where they are just like the other schools this time of year....But that is your opinion and your entitled. But the Tomcats will be back regardless...with plenty of "chances" in the future....

Trimble has solid and strong athletes. They’ve had great runs across the sports the past several years. Howie is a great coach and gets great results from his players and works the officials as good as anyone. I know Trimble kids will play hard and I know Howie will give them the best chance to win.

I simply think it’s a terrible match for Trimble and New Boston will dominate. This is meant as more of a compliment to New Boston and not a slight to Trimble. I apologize to those that take it that way.

New Boston 62
Trimble 42

New Boston to regionals this year and are two big transfers from being at state next year. Good Luck

Trimble beat Peebles who had one player that would get on the court at New Boston

You should feel bad about talking about a kid that way. He lives with his single mother who works to take care of her kids. Sexton has lived in NB all his life. Hate somewhere else

Dissin' other players. Maybe Peebles players wouldn't want to play there since they are all from Peebles. That's the reason alot of people have trouble rooting for NB. I like the players and NB has a good team ,but some things are hard to get over.

Fair enough....I agree this is not a good matchup for Trimble and they haven't faced a team all year like NB...Its NB's time to shine...Trimble is there almost every year competing for championships in all the major sports...With what this years Howie led team has accomplished anything else now is just icing on the cake

Trimble is not big at all. Not sure they play a kid that's legitimately over 6'0". But they are physically strong and play very physical.
In that case,
New Boston 60
Trimble 48

Yea I agree there are somethings that have and from what I’ve heard are still going down that have put a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths when it comes to New Boston.

With that being said this being the first district title game appearance for New Boston in 30 some years I believe and trying to win their first district title in almost 60 years the pressure is something that can’t be overlooked. Trimble is a program that district championship games are something that are almost a yearly occurrence. I think this game will be a lot closer than some think and there’s no reason to think Trimble can’t come out on top in this matchup.
