No excuses for the Jeeps having another bad season with this squad this year. I reckon our starting five will be 3 seniors, a junior, and a freshman. Not having the Lowers will hurt. Need big time minutes from Beasley, Bender, and Campbell

Big blow if true. I’m sure SW admin and the powers that be will look the other way if we have another circus this year

He wasn't going to start. He will get more guaranteed minutes at New Boston. Academically it's a huge drop off but ultimately his family wanted an opportunity for a more impactful role in basketball and determined that opportunity was elsewhere. The Ghost of Swanker wrote: Wed Nov 17, 2021 11:20 am Big blow if true. South Webster is plenty deep. I'd imagine starters will be Bender - Zimmerman - Blizzard - Carpenter - Roberts.... with Collins, Campbell the first two off the bench. A 7 man rotation is plenty enough. They are still a top 5 D4 team in SEO this year.

No way I’m starting Bender over Collins or Beasley this season but more power to him I guess.

If he has played in a scrimmage doesn’t that make him ineligible if he transfers ? At least that had been the rule previously .

I have Burg 4th in SOC II, but could easily see them finishing higher. This is the type of team Ater loves coaching...they'll slow it down on offense, play physical defense, and rebound. Scoring/shooting will be an issue after Swords, and the football playoff run also going to have them behind a few weeks. But by end of season, Burg will be a tough out in D3.*3rd String wrote: Wed Nov 17, 2021 7:36 am Did Wheelersburg JV lose any league games last season? I know they aren't the high profile players, but when I saw them play last year, that were absolute dogs on defense. very disciplined, and very physical ? I think the burg will contend for the 2-3 spot with Minford and Webster.

As in football, The Burg may not have name talent but may well have the best overall team play and another SOC2 gold basketball before it is all over for 21-22. It is now or never for Waverly to convert talent into a championship team.art_vandelay wrote: Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:40 pmI have Burg 4th in SOC II, but could easily see them finishing higher. In SOC I I think Symmes Valley will challenge. They looked pretty solid lastnight.

Don’t sleep on Western. The Carter boy going there makes them a tough team for sure . Carter,Miller,Whitt,Brewster,Haggy is a nice little lineup. And they play 3-4 deep
