Well I’ll be damned I just got home. Left at the very beginning of the 4th think ND went up 8 right off the bat and thought that was that.

ND scored with 3:06 to play and didn’t take another shot until the last seconds. They never got back into an offensive groove, took a 3 to send it to double OT and then they missed 4 layups in the second OT
I’ve seen 6-7 teams stop playing offense and lose this year. Just don’t take bad shots, but playing not to lose is a killer.
Also, foul when you are up 3. Both teams had a chance to, didnt and then the game got extended.

As far as fouling, that is a philosophy thing and if you don’t practice late game situations it could turn out bad. Also, ND had their foot on the gas pedal early in 1st then went zone. I would have stayed in man and pressured the ball like they were doing. They created turnovers which led to points. Barbarits needed to be more aggressive late in the game and was not. Missing the bunny layups hurt ND but you’re correct they played conservative on offense late in the game. I really thought ND had a good shot at going to regional finals

You people never listen. There’s only one STOMP! And it’s our Howie’s. It was in full force last night and it finally got the refs attention and the rest is history. Just shows you can never count our Howie and our Cats out. Now on to show Norm who the best coach is, if Norm shows up that is. I bet he’s having trouble squeezing his cheeks tight enough again now that he has to face our Howie.
Don’t hate us just because you ain’t us.
