Would you rather have Oz’s immediate successor Tom Moore or Harrison? Just wondering.Zahns Corner wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 1:51 pmIf you meant a reference to Jim Osborne , I would hope it was made with reverence .
Did the Blue Devils prevail against Waverly last night? Scores seem hard to come by.

The original poster always tries to stir up stuff in Gallia County. They’ve had like 4000 posts and about 12 have been relevant or positive.Gator B Long wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 4:10 pmWould you rather have Oz’s immediate successor Tom Moore or Harrison? So….are parents still trying to control or not?Geronimo wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 5:12 pm Know GAHS basketball better than most OZ came think in. 68 Moore son know longer in the picture so Harrison there until he wants to step away,It the Super Booster that feed the program for play time that gets me and never was a fan of OZZY Ball slow down play that all you might win 4 this year with that style ?
Are you now saying it’s Coach Oz?
Wait, no, I guess it’s now some secretive group of super boosters?
I mean, if you don’t like the pace of play, that’s cool. Just say that, the rest of it is just kinda whacky.

Having been out of area for a while, I have little knowledge of Moore and Harrison. Our family have been Waverly fans , but dad was of the Hawhee Shoemaker era, and he and many other Tiger fans held Osborne in great respect as an opposing coach.Gator B Long wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 4:10 pmWould you rather have Oz’s immediate successor Tom Moore or Harrison? They say nothing is impossible, yet I accomplish nothing every day.

Looks like I need to eat a little crow, Geronimo! I guess there is some parent control stuff going on. Just learned about it tonight and it explains A LOT! Gonna be a long year if this is allowed to continue.

Ironton was physical and gallia couldn't answer. A ton of turnovers.. an let's hear what's goin on.... keeping it quiet won't help anything... airing it out may not either.. but it could start a conversation... and not jus in tne stands an behind backs.. that's what's wrong with a lot of programs in every town in every sport. too much whispering and not enough conversations... lol. No dog in the fight... jus my two cents

Across the river Gallia vs point don't really no what point has a 3-2 record but Good luck to both !!!
Re: Gallia Academy 24-25
Unless the internal issues are really severe, I'd pick Gallia to win this IF it were a home game. At Point Pleasant got to go with the West Virginia home court -- almost always..Geronimo wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2024 7:31 am Across the river Gallia vs point don't really no what point has a 3-2 record but Good luck to both !!!
Re: Gallia Academy 24-25
I have seen both teams play. Height advantage to Gallia. The team I saw Point play wasn't very good. I say imo this is a toss up.

I think this game is a jump ball, with maybe a slight neutral court edge to GA. But I agree the West Virginia home cooking is significant. Point Pleasant by 9.Hookshot wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2024 8:32 amUnless the internal issues are really severe, I'd pick Gallia to win this IF it were a home game.
