The excuses of them making a deep playoff run has got to go. They’ve been out for over 2 weeks now. They just beat a burg team that is still talented and it was at Burg, so them making a deep playoff run isn’t anything. I think the Jeeps are just more disciplined and talented and will wash this one away if they play like they know how.

Was there an excuse built in there? Nope just a reality that Eastern isn't anywhere close to playing it's best basketball that it should hit as the season moves on. If you don't believe that then take your teams, don't practice or run plays together and don't scrimmage, that's just the reality whether you want to believe it or not. Doesn't matter facts are facts you can't argue them, you can't dispute them call what you want.

I don’t comprehend how you blame TigerNation for making excuses. It was simple statements on the course of both teams. Having great runs in football aren’t excuses, they’re facts. If you don't understand the difference in a team like SW not having football and being able to practice for the last 2-3-4 months of team play and open gym vs 2/3 of team playing football and getting no basketball time then I don't know what to tell you. Seems simple the eastern team playing right now is nowhere close to where they should be come mid January. Really all the pressure is on SW because with all of that extra practice time together and scrimmages if you can't beat the brakes off of Eastern who would be playing back to back nights then I'd worry if I were in SW shoes. Over the next week Eastern will have played @Burg, @Green, @SW back to back nights and then finish up Tuesday at home against undefeated P. West quite the early season test all shoved into 1 week.

This is anyone's game. If Eastern is more worried about Green then they have some work to do. I think they take that game easily though. Since everybody here is focused on fall playoff runs, I'll take that soccer conditioning as an advantage. No football muscle needed here as the fighting Eugenes can run anybody out of the gym.
