Even with Hilands 3 losses they have that head to head matchup with River who they beat back in December, the seedings probably have been all ready decided, but that big game this Friday with Martins Ferry vs River,ot to be a good one

Our local radio station in Holmes county usually starts announcing the pairings around 2:30 or so

Giving teams home court advantage helped these districts balance out because now teams want that home game. In the past you could see all teams go to one side and avoid a team not so much this year.

Not a bad guess. River -MF game won't count for seeding since it's already done.

I'm going to watch it tonight, hopefully it's a good one.

What I mean is depending on the outcome of Friday's game they might feel more comfortable with Hiland then Martins Ferry.

Oh gotcha. Having been at the River-Hiland game, I don't think there is any chance of that TBH.

Ferry presents a much different problem with Selby, but River did not deal with Hiland's ball pressure well at all other than Isaly.

Hiland shot the ball awful that night, but defensively really didn't allow River to get anything going. That IVC style will be what points River towards Ferry IMO.

I wouldn't be shock at all if Mark Schlabach Hilands coach, doesn't take that Feb.28 game slot,he doesn't like to take bye's normally and he also doesn't like his team being off for ten days before they play there first tournament game, I guess we will see,at least that's what he use to do in d-4 tournaments, what I'm hearing is that when new enrollment figures, come out in June some time,we will be in d-3 again for two more years, but then after that we will back in D-4,I guess we will see, unless things are different when the competitive balance starts

Looks like quite a bit of potential movement between D3-D4. Final divisions will be interesting.

Fort IMO will lean towards Hiland side wanting to play the smaller teams.

Isaly is so much fun to watch. He's like a crash test dummy flying around out there. The 3 ball was dropping for him early and that pretty much makes him unguardable. River mixed up defenses and that seemed to bother Ferry at times.

Ferry plays hard, smart ball. They aren't the most talented team, but they just didn't make many mistakes with the ball. They missed a few bunnies that I'm sure they want back. 4 players in double figures for them. They'll be a tough out. I was really impressed with their young coach.
