i wasn't trying to be a wiseguy (for a change). i think that they would have a better chance of getting some wins against western, new boston, east, clay, etc. also some of the consistently weaker teams in the big side of the soc.
i know of a couple of cincinnati d2 schools that play a lot of the smaller charter schools to try and get some wins.
most of the time they don't ask who, they ask how many.
especially in the se tournament draw.

True....also the players usually don't know. 3 or 4 wins right now and they'd likely have more confidence to possibly compete better against the better teams.

Eastern Brown is 11-4 right? Have they won 10 in a row? I would love if someone would take the time to post their schedule/results. The C103 website is incomplete and Im not sure who they played in the brown county tourny final?

Jimmy,
Try this for scores:

http://www.highlandcountypress.com/main ... M=48572.57

and this for standings:

http://www.highlandcountypress.com/main ... M=48693.94

I don't know how accurate or up to date they are.

thanks guys

Highland Co. Press is wrong. They have Eastern at 9-6??? C103 is correct just missing two scores i think. They must have had the exact winning score in the brown co. tourny against GTown and WB = 56-36 both nights. Thats bizarre.

No big deal. Never a need to apologize to anyone, your local high school basketball coverage is some of the best around.

My quetstion is Manchester 5-5 in the SHL? I have them with WHS, Fay, FHS, and Ripley left on the schedule. Is one of these a non-league game?

manchester can't be 5 and 5 and still have 4 league games left. only 13 league games.
i know their first round game in the adams county tournament counts as a league game but not the second one.
where is our manchester poster who says they got cheated in every game they have lost.

That may be where I messed up ... so Manchester should be 5-4, and I think all is correct now.

What a great comment. I can't let this not go unappreciated, well done.

Eastern Brown's last five games:

St. Patrick's
North Adams
Peebles
West Union
Lynchburg Clay

They'll have it rough against Peebles, but from this it's likely they'll at least go 14-6 after starting the year 1-4. That's one heck of a win streak.

Peebles Schedule:

Fayetteville
Paint Valley
Portsmouth
Eastern Brown
North Adams
Piketon

3 challenging games+ a rivalry game against North Adams. I love that theTribe is playing this schedule right before tournament. If two SHL teams tie for the best record, is the overall record a tiebreaker or do they share the league title?
