“Blood ties?” The entire county has blood ties. Lattimore had cousins who just graduated from Burg. Based on your logic, he had “blood ties.”The Ghost of Swanker wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 6:51 pmSommer has Webster blood and ties. The other two seem to fit in just fine and we’re glad to have them. Says the man whose team is playing with what, 3 Burg transfers!!!
You are a clown!!
Typical attitude on this board. Burg gets one transfer, and the meltdown begins. Meanwhile, no one considers the number of kids that transfer out of Burg to these other schools.
Burg and minford both have benefited from SW homegrown talent over the years.
N W VS BURG

He didn’t. It got to the point in the second half when other refs had to make calls out of position because he was simply letting the obvious go.Prime Time wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 7:12 pm Just because you say theygot hammered and the Hall of Fame ref standing 3 feet away would intentionally not call it is ridiculous! I say change the color of your glasses!
Btw, did you watch the game or are you another Ironton troll?

You guys keep wearing your orange colored glasses! Maybe you guys can watch the game over and over and say the same thing over and over. Fact ,Northwest handed it to you! Whether you agree or disagree it was still a big Lost. So now your critique pro, watching where the refs are standing, lol says it all. Maybe apply for a football coach job on theside since they didn’t perform to your high expectations.
Re: N W VS BURG
I did watch the game. I saw one team able to get good looks consistently and another team not able to do so.
Wheelersburg struggled against Lintz when he initiated and had too many lapses against Northwest’s motion, both directly via cuts and indirectly via scrambles and offensive rebounds. Northwest was typically able to cut off drives, especially when Lattimore tried to get downhill, and crucially limited Wheelersburg to one shot offensively. Neither shot from particularly well, I’d imagine both are typically better, but that happens.

Who has Burg gotten from SW that contributed in basketball???
One of your football kickers was from Webster too.
Probably some others too that flew under the swankradar

You keep repeating what I’m saying. One team was able to take the ball to the hole and get the foul called and continue to do that to where the Burg players were afraid to touch them to the other driving to the basket and getting hammered with no call and took them out of their game plan.
Second half Burg went away from driving and shooting from the outside and they struggled!!
Once again, NW was able to play aggressively and Burg wasn’t!!

This is the same bunch that claimed they got beat on homecoming night by the BIG BAD JEEPS because they got T’d up in warmups and we got two freebies but they’ll gladly boast about beating SW with their head coach admitted in the hospital.
Re: N W VS BURG
That wasn’t a claim. That actually happened. Made the game tied. Forcing overtime. The Ghost of Swanker wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 9:02 pmThis is the same bunch that claimed they got beat on homecoming night by the BIG BAD JEEPS because they got T’d up in warmups and we got two freebies but they’ll gladly boast about beating SW with their head coach admitted in the hospital.
Kept Burg from going undefeated in league.

No Burg kept themselves from going undefeated in league, if Burg hadn’t done something they wasn’t suppose to do in warmups ,they wouldn’t got technical, hence they beat themselves.
Re: N W VS BURG
Maybe, but the ref who called it had his order screwed up by Fred’s in 2006 and he has had it out for the Pirates ever since.

Re: N W VS BURG
So Wheelersburg did do something in warmups to deserve the technical! It’s either yes they did or no they didn’t!
Re: N W VS BURG
Northwest won! Congrats! Good luck vs. Malvern. This old record needs to be turned off. Refs this and refs that. Excuses! I think we should turn our attention to who’s left on both the girls and boys side and support these school and kids. We have a lot of talent left. Girls - Fairland, Portsmouth, and Waterford…awesome! Boys - Northwest, North Adams, South Webster, and Leesburg. Good luck to all remaining teams.
The last time Malvern got this far they beat Wheelersburg and eventually lost to none other than Daddy Copas and North Adams. Hopefully, history does not repeat itself and we have Northwest playing the Green Devils and we all win at that point. Southern Ohio is at a disadvantage, so wouldn’t it be nice to see an area team in Dayton!
And not as a Northwest fan, but as a spectator, a huge shoutout to their crowd. They brought a ton of energy and support. That was really cool to watch. Malvern is very good, but I guarantee if Northwest finds some success early, watch out. Same for North Adams.
Let’s focus on the next one fellas because this one is the opposite of under…over!

We’re debating this game with two Ironton trolls and one wannabe troll from SW.wobycat wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 9:39 pmHowever you want to interpret itPrime Time wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 9:27 pm No Burg kept themselves from going undefeated in league, if Burg hadn’t done something they wasn’t suppose to do in warmups ,they wouldn’t got technical, hence they beat themselves.

Until football season arrives, IHS fans have nothing to discuss with regards to their own school. Not sure why the SW wannabe troll is on here given his team is still playing. Must not be much talk on the upcoming SW game.
