Out of 18 games there are only articles for five games (Manchester 12/9, West Union 12/16, Manchester 12/30, Ripley 1/6, and Eastern 2/10). I've gotten more information from Portsmouth Daily Times and the Ledger-Independent in Maysville. That's pretty sad. I'd like to see someone start a blog to cover all the games. There are a few posters on here that would be great candidates for that, you know who you are. :122249
The papers will print an article if someone else writes it for them. That being said, I agree.

According to maxpreps LC beat WU 40-36.

Looks like LC shot 13/26 from the free throw line and 1/10 from the 3 point line. Sounds like LC might not have been very motivated for this game.
LC only took 29 shots the entire game. Sombody must have been holding the ball a lot during this game. I am always amazed at the slow pace of high school games these days. Hell, I had a few games back in high school where I almost took 29 shots myself - let alone an entire team.

you have to do what you have to do to give your team a chance to win. bad teams need to limit the number of possessions to increase their chances for a win.

West Union beats Fairfield 56-50. It's their first win of the season.

I don't think the losses by either of the SHL teams will affect their tourny play. If anything it will probably make them even more hungry for a win.

WOW Fairfield loss...I'm glad WU got one W this season. Not gonna lie guys, been reeling from the North Adams loss all day, but that's why they play the game. I'm excited for the second season to start next week. Final standings and the SHL tourney rundown will be posted tomorrow. Sorry about the delay...haven't been near a computer all day.

Peebles 65 - Piketon 55. Great win for the SHL over a strong squad.

Does anybody know where I can find out what seed number every team is? The OHSAA website isn't much help.

Ripley finshed 17-3 on the season

http://preps.cincinnati.com/id/261/Ripl ... etballBoys

Appears West Union only played 19 games. Finished 1-18

Cincinnati.com is another great site for stats and scores (Girls and Boys). Most schools post game-by-game stats on their site. They make it easy for the coaches to plug in the information at their convinence.
