I had no problem with Wayne or Andrew taking the shot,,both ae very capapble of making that shot,,,last week Wayne hit the game tieing shot, and then the go ahead shot against Wheelersburg,,so knew what to do in that situation

1st off the officialshad nothing to do with the outcome i thought they were evenl bad both ways.

GAME RECAP

1st quarter: The Trojans came out jacked and ready to play with a great mind set. Made the Panthers go against all of their ways. The Trojans made chesapeake move to fast in the half court and forced them to take terrible shots. (1st QUARTER WINNER PORTSMOUTH)

2nd quarter: Chesapeake started to settle down and hit some shots but Portsmouth kept the momentum. (2nd QUARTER WINNER PORTSMOUTH)

3rd quarter: The Panthers came out and finally matched the Trojans main word being MATCHED. Both defenses did not play to their ability. (3rd QUARTER WINNER TIE)

4th quarter: At the start of the quarter it was all trojans then the PAnthers finally showed the will to win and took over late in the 4th bu it was to little to late. (4th QUARTER WINNER CHESAPEAKE)

Over all it was a great game to attend. Though the defensive battle we expected didnt live up tothe hype it was still one hell of a ball game. My heart goes out to the Panthers because i am and will always b a panther fan, but my wishes and respct go to the Trojans. GOOD LUCK!!! The only thing Portsmouth needs to work on is their Offense in the half court, due to the fact from here on out the talent level wil be increased and the athleticism will be superior. Last night it was more like a one on one show. But whatever works works.
Thank you,,,I would imagine the PHS and the Peake will meet up again in the very near future....wipalawalt

My family and I are from Northwest, and we drove up to support local basketball. I can't believe how much fun this was. My kids are 10(son) and daughter (12) loved the atmosphere. My son said he is going to dunk on that court one of these days.

To the Trojan community congratulations.

By the way, I remember Andrew Bendolph coming to the L.I.F.E. Center when he was like in the 7th grade and playing with very good adult players. He got beat a lot then but grew as a ballplayer very quickly. It definitely payed off.

most of the Trojan fans knew how good peake was, and most of us has accepted this win without a bunch of talk,I just think some of them got tired of hearing not only this week....but all year long , how we could not play with Peake and their athletes...
I "like a couple ohers have stated" feel really bad for the Peakes players,I know how hard it would have

been for our kids had they lost, and they were the underdogs....but in the end, they are all kids, and all of OUR area.....the kids for Chesapeake have accomplised a lot the last few years..and have nothing to hanf their heads about...

No team is over rated when they win 20 + games and are fighting for a regional championship. I listen to the game and when one team (you thought) was going to pull ahead more the other had an answer for it. This game was a fight from start to end. This was one game you didn"t want to see a loser!!

dogg.
When Peake was playing from Jackson sectional, district and regioanal all I heard was "WE CAN'T WHAT UNTIL THE STATE" also 'PUT US IN WE ARE FINAL 4 BOUND' etc!!! but I just smile and one ear and out the other because thats the reason we play the games for the one last night against The Peake!!

I wouldn't call them over rated, more maybe that we were under rated, by them.

It's just the reaction after hearing all year, how much better then us they were, when we all knew that wasn't the case. Some Panther fans had predicted 20 point wins, over PHS and obviously that was not the case. So I guess some of the Panther's may have over rated their team or under rated ours.

That was a great video trojan7 of the final shot. The only thing I didn't see was a foul. Evans drove the lane and threw up a runner and I didn't see anyone touch him.

Great win by the Trojans against a very, very good team. I said before the tourney that it would be peake and Ptown in the reg. final with the game being a tossup. The game didn't dissappoint
