This is the reason Fort Frye would struggle in the SEOAL...it is a LOT more physical. The officials let the kids bang on each other every game. This is why Warren's players are barrel chested...they have to be to survive. I love the way the Cadets play the game but they will have to play stronger to advance deep into the post season because eventually you are going to run into a team of weight lifters with skills.

The Warriors play chest-up defense. The weaker player will give ground. Does that make it a foul? Do you punish the kid that has worked his tail off in the weight room with a foul just because the weaker kid can't stand his ground?

You never said anything about the weight lifting you said the refs let they play???What's the mean??A push is a push..If the guy has good position then its not a foul.Anyway Magnolia was much bigger then Warren and stronger to.FF always plays good helpside D and I'm sure they will get their points inside.The game will come down to if FFs perimeter shooters are knocking down 3s.

If Warren is making their 3s then FF will have no chance. Warren has better post play and is deeper.

Question for your a foul is a foul. When is a moving screen not a foul. FF has mastered the illegal or moving screen over the years. Guess that is allowed since Dan has been around since dirt.

Both teams come in playing very well....don't care if FF is smaller school....they will fight you all the way....Shon got 35 last game, did they not guard him?? ....got to make Shon earn his....if Warren keeps him under 20 and rebound, they win....

THE TOP TEN THINGS I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT FORT FRYE BASKETBALL FROM DSPY:

10. scrimmages are not a learning tool for coaches in the preseason.
9. If your coach chooses to double up coaching duties his assistants will be given absolutly NO CREDIT for the jobs they do keeping one program going while he is at the other.
8. dewey cheatem and howell only referee at Waterford for Waterford.
7. crow must taste great.
6. Virgil does not like Warren posters
5. Fort Frye is a small school
4. No one else is as good as Fort Frye.
3. Warrens guards are not respected by Dspy.

2. Dan Lietke is the only High School Basketball coach to ever coach the game.

1. Shon Smith is a big fish in a little pond.

Just because I don't mention other coaches doesn't mean I don't respect them.Henniger and Pat Lang are great coaches.Why do I eat crow check my post man when did I not give Warren any creedit???I have picked them to beat FF everytime the last 2 years.

Portsmouth is in the record books more than Fort Frye
Troy Fogle is a good coach too
Marietta has more individual players in the record books than Fort Frye
Troy and Eric were once point guards too
Fort Frye wants in the SEOAL because Portsmouth is D3 and no challenge
Chili should quit scheduling Columbus teams and schedule Fort Frye

Both teams peaking at the right time, Both teams coming off big wins, homecoming for Smith, Senior night for Warren, two outstanding coaches, and I would predict a packed house. A huge surprise that chuck is bringing up a pre season scrimmage again. FF played out their a** in that scrimmage, Eddy didn't miss. I'll take warren by double digits in this one, no matter how great a coach Dan is. The way Warren is playing right now they won't let this one be close.
