I don't really condone anyone for saying that Jason Snider is a "POS". Despite the achievements of the Naval Academy, etc it is impossible, however, to say that he was successful as the AD at Jackson. He simply wasn't....he was a monumental failure who lacked the organizational skills(or effort) to necessarily run the athletic program that the kids and tax paying citizen of the Jackson City School District deserve.
Ultimately though, the joke was on the Superintendent and the board who hired him, failed to manage him, and additionally paid him a tall salary for a consistently poor performance.
Bob Kight might have some short-comings, but rest assured.....Jackson City Schools is MUCH better off now than they were a year ago.

Yes Ty Webb, well said indeed.
Did you know that, according Jason Snider, he and he alone got "17 kids" from Jackson High School into college.
What a slap in the face to those kids, their parents and their coaches for all of the hard work they put in both on the field and in the classroom!
I argued with him and informed him that he did not get a single student-athlete from Jackson High School into college. He may have stood in the picture for the paper 17 times, but he DID NOT get one single student-athlete into college.
He went nuts on that point, but it again proved how wrong he was.

Re: Jackson AD job
Lets just mention this. Schools that played in the basketball tournaments at Jackson this past year got their payouts a month and a half earlier than last year.

Re: Jackson AD job
Jason Snider was hired by Steve Anderson to undermine Jackson Athletics immediately after Anderson proclaimed his disdain for sports. Jason did an excellent job of dismembering the department.

Mr. Anderson is at fault for recommending Snider. And the board is at fault for hiring and then re-hiring Snider. But I don't really believe it was to intentionately undermine JHS Atletics. That just creates more work and headace's for everybody. When people start b*tching to the Board and Super., that just creates chaos. Plus it loses money in those departments. I can't honestly believe somebody would self inflect those wounds. It was just poor performance on Sniders part.
