not very many people lightle04! including myself. ive been an indian fan for a long time now, and i never saw it comin.... wouldnt mind seeing it again this year! oh and 60ft.6in.- i dont believe anyone "shyed away" from the ball. i was at one too many ball games to know that each and everyone of those boys wanted a win, and a chance to touch that ball. there is one thing i WILL agree with you on though. kier did work his tail off, and props to him. he will be missed GREATLY this season.

I agree that most Indians fans do not understand what a blow it is going to be for your team to not have Kier. I watched them 4-5 times last year, and he was the glue! Talent is still there, but will they have the leadership?????

Time will tell. I just hope they underestimate our "small" eagle squad this year!

Maybe I shouldn't use the word SHY, but he didn't want the ball as much as he should have. His coach and teammates wanted him to have the ball 90% of the time, he just didnt show that he wanted it that much. I did see at times though, (Valley, New Boston) When he did want it, but that was not until the end of the game, if he wanted the ball that much during the entire game, all I can say is "Watch Out", because no one is going to stop him when the game is on the line and if he played like that in the 1st half, he would be unstoppable.

-It seems like every topic has to do with Shanks, lets leave the kid alone, he is a tremendous ball player who should explode this year. It is finally "His" team.

It is going to be a really tuff season for some teams in the 2008-2009 season for all soc 1 teams. Like Symes valley had a great j.v team last year and they only lost a few ppl so they still should be pretty good. Then western didnt rlly lose anyone but they have shanks and smitons and the others on their team which will help out alot..and their is still eastern and new boston who have about everyone back just like simes valley so it is going to be a very good comp this year for the S.O.C title....
