I think Whitley was a Burgite up until his Sophomore year. He left after his Freshman year, so I don't think he went "home" to Portsmouth.

Whitley went to Burg up to 7th grade and then went to Portsmouth for 7th again and back to Burg for 8th-10th. He started his 11th grade year in VA and transferred back to Portsmouth early last year.

Those 3 players you mention all went back HOME where they belonged in the first place.

so, you are saying that even after roaming the countryside, the fact that they finally returned "home"...(with the apparent exception of Whitley) that you consider that loyalty?
(oh, if only my first mate had been that understanding)

and i agree with you in that "home (is) where they belonged in the first place" and that is where they should have stayed....IMO.
