hoopscoop: Hope to see you at the games this weekend.......both at home......Zanesville on Friday, then Northwest on Saturday. Next week features 3 more games, with Ironton at PHS on Tuesday, at Chillicothe on Wednesday, then Gallia Academy at home next Saturday.

The final week of the regular season will see the Trojans travel to Chesapeake on Tuesday the 17th, followed by Warren at home on Thursday the 19th, and the Day of Champions on the 21st........Portsmouth will play at the North school, the opponent not certain yet.

Interesting weather times in these parts. Due to the continued cancellations (many valid), the Cavs will be playing 8 games in 14 days. I am sure other area teams will be doing the same. I am totally against it. These kids will be risking as much injury as they will on the bus going through snow.

As far as the P-Town/Chilly cancellation, I understand the Portsmouth School District Transporation Department made the call. I am sure they don't want to put Drivers/Children at risk. Or is it as posted above, all the schools are afraid of the lawsuits.

Well, we will be feed plenty of hoops in the next two weeks. Crazy, but necessary. By the time we get to the DOC, many teams will all ready be wore out. Will be a game of attrition.
